Worse one we have ever stayed at!

The desk clerk had to ne called a the house phone to check us in but we could see her talking with someone so I know she could see us. The room did not have a clock. I have never stayed at any hotel/motel without a clock room. Trying to call the Wake-up button was useless as was the button for the front desk (around 9:30). No one answered. We needed to be up at 6:30 am...very important! My husband had to get dressed and drive around to the front desk to place a wake-up call. He had the clerk call our room to determine if the phone was working. It was working. The problem was the clerk was not at the desk to receive my calls. The tv was horrible! CNN had continual white streaks going across the screen and Fox News was no better. It had a obnoxious moving pattern. Color had not been set correctly with a number of stations too dark. All of these things made it impossible to enjoy watching tv. I had to unplug the fridge in order an outlet to accommodate the charger for my pad that has a square plug. The room was cold when we arrived around 7:00 pm. For the next several hours I tried to adjust the temp to a comfortable degree. Turning it to 88 degrees was of very little help. I was cold when I got into bed and finally got up and turned on the heat...and this was in mid-July! In the past we have stayed at a number of Quality Inns and never had a single problem. This one in Waynesboro needs a lot of changes! Mainly a manager who cares.

This hotel was managed poorly. On first impression it was not tidy. It looked like it had some new renovations but was just junky looking. Like no one cared. The front desk was run by people who did not even want to get out of a chair to answer questions. They just rolled around. Every time I went to the front desk with a problem (which was quite a few) they were on their cell phones and stayed on their cell phones the whole time I was talking to them. What was left of breakfast at 8:45 was stuck to the bottom of the pan. They were out of coffee so I went to the lobby to get some & it was out too. It could be a really nice hotel if they fired everyone there & started over. I would never stay there again.

The pool was closed which was very disappointing since that was one of the deciding factors to staying there.
