“The Travelodge by Wyndham is a fixture on the Cape, being one of the few places a traveler can book a single night at the height of the busy summer season (most require at least two). The rate is affordable, which they tout on their roadside marquee; it is also open all year, which is beneficial when looking for a room any time of the year up there. “The pool water was murky/dirty upon check in on July 3. A sign stated that the pool would be inspected on July 15. It should have been repaired prior to the July 4th holiday! There has been a great change from last year's owners. We have stayed there several years in a row and the pool was clean. The breakfast hours have been reduced from 7 am to 9 am instead of 10 am. “Could not have asked for a better stay in Wellfleet. We were looking for a long weekend getaway and the Southfleet Motor Inn did not disappoint. Upon arrival, the woman at the check in was super friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely clean, spacious and well maintained- the AC ran ice cold during the 100+ degree heat wave, The amenities were above what you would expect for a motel on route 6. The bathroom sink didn't drain, the toilet seat did not fit straight, the carpeting was terribly stained, the screen door to the balcony was broken, and the overall look was very dated.
