"This is an average hotel. We stayed in two different rooms- one of which was probably clean but had so many stains on furniture and in shower that it looked dirty and old. The other room was clean and looked nice. The room set up was nice, with a couch and kitchen-type area. Breakfast was decent, but nothing special. The staff however, were incredibly friendly and helpful, so that made it much better! It wouldn't be my first pick to stay in next time I'm in Des Moines, but I also wouldn't rule it out."

"Curtains were very dirty. I would not sit on the chair in the corner, there was an unknown substance on it. The desk chair, kept moving down. It would not hold a higher setting. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean. Breakfast decent. Pool being refurbished. Lots of smoking at the front door."

"My mom, sister, and I have stayed at this hotel the last 2 times we have had our girl's day. Quick check in, friendly, close to everything. There were waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, ham, yogurt, etc for the breakfast (and cappucino!). The pool was empty in the morning, so we were able to enjoy our relaxing morning in the hot tub together. Another great stay!"
