“Loved this hotel, it's not like every other hotel, rooms mostly looking alike, it is unique. The room was huge, the bed is a regular bed though, squeaky. Complaints about the carpet are greatly unfounded, they are going to update it, but it is clean and not bad looking. They are currently renovating the upstairs rooms, but it did not affect our stay. Great little historic hotel, I recommend it. ”

“It was in a beautiful area in Lake Tahoe with all the trees and it snowed both days we were there and we went in the swimming pool and hot tub, which were great while it was snowing & sat by the fireplace back at the room.We played pool in the clubhouse. You can walk right next-door to the Horizon Casino for great restaurants and gambling if you wish.”
