"The on-site hot springs were fantastic. The concierge service helped us find a great tour for our last day, and they were very accommodating in allowing us a late checkout to work with our flight plans. The views from the balcony were excellent, and the room was incredibly spacious. Dining options were good, though pricy. Try to stop at a grocery store before settling into the property - some cheaper snacks and breakfast items would have been a good buy for us."

"One more excellent resort located in La Fortuna area.Reception staff was very courteous and helpful.Manrique Sanchez ( I hope I got the name right) helped us with the tours and his suggestions were spot on for our family needs. Cleaning staff and all support staff were top notch.You will not regret staying in here."

"Tabacón is an incredible resort! The springs is much larger than you would expect, with many beautiful parts to find privacy and relaxation. The drinks are incredible and views are even better. We indulged in a couples volcanic mud massage- and it was the best massage ever! The spa is beautiful, peaceful and worth it! One thing to consider is that it is a 20minute ride to town, so you are pretty much committed to eating at the resort- which is not cheap. Each drink is $15 and meals are $20 ....

"Great hotel to stay at in La Fortuna. A beautiful view of the Volcano from the back patio. It’s a smaller hotel, with a few hot springs that we never spent any time in. This was a short trip. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was very tasty and they had ok iced lattes (they were just a bit watery). The dinner menu wasn’t super impressive, but most of the dinner menus we saw in Costa Rica are not. "

And the restaurant food was to die for!! Best filet mignon I've ever had - not kidding! Mr. Howard at the restaurant was also wonderful, as well as the waiters, including Enrique. What a lovely experience. We'll definitely be staying there when we visit CR again without a doubt!!"

"Perfect airport hotel. Clean, well maintained and conveniently located to airport. Basic, but satisfying breakfast buffet, and 24 hour shuttle to the airport. We initially stayed on our late night arrival, and returned for our last prior to our early morning flight out. Staff friendly, well stocked last minute gift shop and car rental key drop on site too. last minute gift shop "

"Quick overnight stay before our flight back home. Hotel is sparkling clean. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good. Breakfast was amazing with large selection of both Costa Rican and traditional foods. Located next to Wal Mart. It was cool to walk over and see the different foods offered there that we do not get back home."
