“Check in was easy and the staff were amazing during my entire stay. I stayed in a single room, the room was surprisingly spacious and well laid out and had a decent sized bathroom. Couple of things to note: Room was on the third floor, there is no elevator. Not too much of a problem as the stairs are not steep or narrow. Room was in the”attic space” so being just over 5’ tall wasn’t too much of a problem, but anyone taller may find it a bit of a problem. Room had great skylights with……

“We stayed at The Olde Bell for one night and we were very kindly given an upgrade to a gorgeous luxury room overlooking the lovely garden. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated with a free standing bath in the room as well as a large walk in shower in the bathroom. The staff were all very friendly, dinner was good and breakfast was fantastic. This is also such a good value historical hotel in a gorgeous village. We will definitely be back - this is our second stay. ”

“Lovely hotel near to the river, with a fantastic interior, our room had two levels with a view of the river from the balcony, which was special. The staff were polite and attentive, with a happy receptionist to receive you (Sunny!). All in all would definitely stay again. ”
