“Conveniently located hotel for us in Petoskey while we visited family in the area. Was near shopping, restaurants and even a casino if you’re into that kind of thing. Only complaints we had were the fairly tight/limited parking and that the room walls didn’t seem to insulate sound very well.”

“We had a 2 night stay and were not informed at check in the room wouldn't be made up daily. We can appreciate re-using towels but for the price they should have made the bed, taken out the trash, restocked our coffee, and replaced the disposable coffee cups. I had to make 3 trips to the lobby to get Coffee and cups.”

“Avoid this property. We arrived to a moldy smell from the ac. The sink was clogged. The towels were Motel 6 quality. No amenities to speak of. The photos online do not resemble the facilities. This hotel is on a busy road. The woman who answered the phone was unhelpful and made me feel like I was a bother. They seemed unfazed about the sink and the mold. They sent us to a room with extra towels and toilet paper (you have to go get your own). The room was infested with insects. Avoid. Avoid Avoid”

“Stayed a night at Charlesvoix House (Northside) on our way to a family funeral in Sault Ste Marie. This pretty town is walkable and worth a stopover. Writing this review to thank our host Terry. She reminded us of the treasures we had discovered at many bed and breakfasts in our travels in the 80s and 90s, before the days of airbnbs and sterile Wyndhams. She shared insights of the town including the story behind the 380 potted flower decorations on the town roads. She cooked muffins with fresh……
