“The staff was really kind and helpful gave great directions, would stay here again.”

“Staff very friendly. We encountered a problem with our key. Didn’t work. We left for dinner being told check back with the front desk they would solve the problem. When we returned 2 hours later we still could not get in our room with our luggage inside. They put us in a different room but we still had to wait another half hour for someone to come and get the door open to the First room where our luggage was. Now 10pm not a good start to our stay.”

“I was worry when I checked the property. And when I arrived on property I was very happy and satisfied. Its so cozy and renovated. Mattress was the one of the best mattresses. Clean rooms, parking is okay, if you drive straight truck you can find a spot. So I recommend 100%”

“Our stay was great! The view is amazing and I loved that all of the rooms face the water. The room was so comfortable, and its in a great location. The only thing I rated less than 5 stars was the upkeep of the property itself, it could have used some landscaping/weed treatment and the bugs were so bad outside our room/on the property. Overall, it was great and we would definitely return!”

“Stayed a night at Charlesvoix House (Northside) on our way to a family funeral in Sault Ste Marie. This pretty town is walkable and worth a stopover. Writing this review to thank our host Terry. She reminded us of the treasures we had discovered at many bed and breakfasts in our travels in the 80s and 90s, before the days of airbnbs and sterile Wyndhams. She shared insights of the town including the story behind the 380 potted flower decorations on the town roads. She cooked muffins with fresh……

The grounds were a gardener’s paradise and our room was so cozy we felt like it was home. It was triangulated between Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Boyne City - perfect location. Do yourself a favor and stay here, you won’t regret it!”
