There is a large shared first floor with an eclectic array of furnishings, and used for reception, guest lounge and kitchenette for coffee tea and treats. “Motel room was very clean with up-to-date modern furniture/fixtures, comfortable bed with nice soft linens. Large clean bathroom and towels. Lots of parking spots and the staff were helpful and friendly. The Motel on-premise cafe food was very good. The Kent Motel is in a good location to the historic downtown, Shaw Festival Theatre, restaurants and wineries. Couple of Suggestions: Add a coffee maker in the rooms; we could not enjoy an early morning coffee until 8:00am as that is when the……

“Due to the emergency matter I was not able to check in the hotel but I was charged double times for the room rate. I understand the pre payment won’t be refunded if I failed check in but I don’t think they could charge me double times. I contacted them and never got anything back. ”

“Being a frequent traveller I've stayed in many B&B in Europe and Asia. But so far this is the best B&B I've ever stayed in my life. We arrived late due to traffic jam but the host stayed up and helped us with the check in. We have lots of luggages so the host upgrades our room to a spacious Purple butterfly without any additional charge. The breakfast every morning is delicious, fresh and abundant with lots of variety, we brought along a 3-year-old and the host even prepare additional donuts……

“Although it was pouring rain all day the day we arrived, the amenities looked pretty great. Our deluxe cottage however, was not very deluxe. First off it was not the cottage that was portrayed in the pictures when we booked it and there was no caveat that we may not receive that exact unit as shown. Hipuge difference. We were very disappointed. Make sure you understand exactly what unit you are renting and ask for pictures of that specific unit. The unit we ended up getting was run down, dated……
