"Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was better than expected in the morning. The bed was comfortable."

"Room was clean but smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling so check your rooms for maintenance. Staff was very friendly and helpful at desk. Housekeeping did knock and try to enter our room before I could answer the door at 10am, an hour before checkout, so educate them to let us answer. It takes 15 seconds, not 3. A do not disturb sign would have helped. Otherwise it's a nice place."

"We couldn't make it due to a family emergency and a winter snowstorm, and the hotel was very understanding and very easy to work with. If I need a hotel in the area in the future this hotel will be my 1st choice. "

"We stayed one night while traveling through Des Moines. The staff was friendly and very responsive to our questions. The room and bed were very comfortable. The pool looks great, although we didn’t use it. We did use the small fitness center. It has one treadmill, a stationary bike, and some free weights. Great value for price. We will stay here again on our return trip. "
