“This hotel deserves zero stars if that were an option. It was a terrible experience, and here’s why: 1. Outdated Facilities: The roof appears to have been neglected for years, and the overall condition of the facilities is poor. 2. “La vista de la Bahía le falta cortar las puntas de los árboles que tapa la visibilidad. La limpieza de las habitaciones excelente la comida terrible no había variedad y de los hoteles también terribles no había variedad en cócteles y cerraban el bar a las 8:30 de la noche y los postres los mismos de siempre tres días seguidos nos dieron pastas y tres días seguidos nos dieron chuleta terrible pasamos dos noches con diarrea porque a la comida le echan demasiado mantequilla o no sé qué le echan……

“The location is pretty good but if you’re looking to explore on your own, rent a car. If you do rent a car be aware that the price you’re quoted never includes TPL (third party liability) and is required by CR law. It’s about $15-$20 a day. The resort itself is a decent layout, but be prepared for a lot of walking (and stairs) or waiting for the shuttle. The pool closes at like 7 or 8 for whatever reason, so don’t get your hopes up for night swimming. The beach is about 5 meters from a public……

“Beautiful property and room! The pools are plentiful and never felt crowded—we saw a monkey! Treat yourself to an evening sunset by the lobby bar—breathtaking! The beach is ona beautiful cove. My kids enjoyed the rocky areas for “tidepooling” for hermit crabs, fish, etc. There is a nice reef right off the beach where daily snorkeling activities are available. We saw a puffer fish, some colorful tropical fish and a spotted ray. Note the beach is public, but the locals are friendly and not……

“We stayed for our honeymoon and it was an excellent stay. The staff were kind and helpful, just be prepared to communicate in Spanish. The "included breakfast" is freshly cooked by the staff to order: gallo pinto, omelette, toast, etc and all were delicious. The AC and fan in the room were sufficient to keep it cool and enjoyable. The pool was clean and fun. Less than 5 minute walk to Coco Beach. Several decent restaurants within a 5 minute walk and the main street with lots of stuff available……
