“Sure, it has curb appeal. The front lobby has beautiful woodwork, as does the restaurant and staircase. The rooms appear to be period correct and the beds are comfy. But that charm and nostalgia quickly wear off when you discover there is no air conditioning. The windows only open 8 inches, limiting the amount of cool night air that can enter. There were no insect screens on the windows. There was only one dusty pedestal fan for the two bedrooms, so we had to request a second. You go to……
