We stayed for four nights as a family of five. This small hotel was incredibly warm and inviting, and the hosts, Paul and Mary Beth were wonderfully accommodating and kind throughout our stay. The location was perfect for short drives (15 minutes tops!) to everything we wanted to see, plus it was walking distance to great food and shops on the Southside. Breakfast every morning was an easy treat and the coffee/tea was excellent. Bonus: Peabody is a sweet pup to pet if you're missing your furry...

The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very attentive. This is not a normal hotel, though. It's a former monastery, and has the charm of a former monastery. All the rooms seem to be one offs due to the fact that it was a former monastery. Don't expect a hotel chain, and you will have a wonderful stay.

Very friendly front-desk staff to greet us and get us checked in quickly. Loved that our room was cool when we entered. Very comfortable bed and lots of pillows. Cleaning person was super friendly as well.

Spacious room with modern decor, comfortable beds and spectacular view of the city, river and boats. We had breakfast at the Factory and it was excellent. The portions were huge, the food was delicious and the server was outstanding. Front desk staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Lots to do within walking distance and the walk along the river was fantastic. We stayed there a few years ago and it was a significantly better experience this time around. They have a...

There is not one negative thing about our stay. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. The worse part is having to leave. Fresh coffee till late evening was a bonus. The pool was clean outside grounds were kept up even through all the storms we had. We have stayed at this location many times and have never been disappointed

Hotel was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was way better than I expected. It had cut-up fresh fruit (not from a can), pineapple and strawberries. Hot scrambled eggs and bacon. Even croissants and cheese to make an egg sandwich. The staff was friendly. The hotel is also close to stores and restaurants.

Easy to find and free parking. We had connecting rooms that were both clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was an added bonus with good food and lots of choices.

My daughter & I stayed here for a night while visiting my son, who is college nearby. The room, and hotel, are recently remodeled. Everything was very clean, the mattresses were very comfortable (sometimes hotel mattresses are a bit lumpy). We will definitely stay there again.

Facility and staff very nice, good breakfast. Seemed silly to be charged $4.95 a night for parking upon arrival. Why not include that in rate? All the website said was on-site parking available.

Three night stay. Received a free room upgrade. Unit was clean, a little musty smelling upon arrival, cleared after running the ac for a few minutes. While located on a four lane road, I never heard any traffic noise. Wifi worked without issue. Room had a mini-fridge and Microwave - not identified in advertisements. Could use a channel guide for the TV. Would definitely stay again. As my daughter is a freshman at Pitt you can delete the "would" part. From reading other reviews, I had a...
