A taste of the country while in the city! This property has gardens, forest, pastures, apiary, and seasonally hosts a small farm stand. A charcoal grill,A Fire Pit you & guest can share time outside & by request s’mores can be provided. A basketball goal and two tree swings for young ones. One of the few privately owned green spaces left in Charlotte, conveniently close to 3 major highways leading to the city and all surrounding areas. A private pond on the property can be fished, or go less than 1 mile to a nature preserve with trails, or a park with splash pads and pickle ball courts. All of the entertainment and amenities of the city are only a short drive away.

Awesome cottage
We have stayed at the cottage 2 other times and each stay has been amazing. It is super clean and the area is quiet. The girls love the tree swing and the treats that Ms. Julia leaves for them. I would highly recommend staying here.

Love this property!!
It's so nice to rent a property so close to the city yet still seem like you are out in the country. We love this property as it fits our family perfectly and it's well kept and clean. Ms. Julia's honey is an amazing treat each time we visit! Anytime we are in the area and need a place to stay this is top of our list! A+++ host!!!

Great Location
We had a very enjoyable stay in Julia's cottage. The location is nice as you are removed from the hustle and bustle of the big city but are minutes from it and all the surrounding amenities. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable and Julia responded quickly to our enquiries. I'd highly recommend her cottage if visiting the Charlotte area. Don.

Amazing cottage
Julia's cottage was amazing. She's thought of every detail! Our family had an amazing trip, and everyone loved the cottage. From the basketball Hoop, to the lake, we had so much fun exploring the area. The location is convenient to everything. The cottage was spotless and we can't wait to return.

Perfect Fit
The cottage was a perfect fit for our extended family. The swings and fishing in the pond kept the kids entertained during our downtime in the area. The cottage was very clean and very well maintained. The honey sample and mini-cakes were nice welcoming gifts. And Julia communicated with us regularly to ensure we were having a pleasant stay. Great Property
Wonderful place to stay. We were in town for Street car takeover at Zmax dragstrip and this house was the perfect distance about 15 mins away , if that. The house is also placed in a great area with a nice pond behind the house and paved driveway(which was a huge plus being we had really clean cars). The check-in process was seamless and the house was very tidy and clean. Zero complaints from our group. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Charlotte.

Awesome quiet cottage!
This is the second year we have stayed here. It is a quiet cottage very clean and roomy. They have added a few things from last year. My girls lived the tree swings! Julia is also very nice and quick to answer any questions or concerns you might have. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning!

Peaceful Sweet Stay !
We had a wonderful stay Julia the Host was great to work with. The pictures of the property cant show you how wonderful the place is to stay at. Fresh flowers to the welcome gift and treats. Coffee every morning with the birds singing on the back deck! Food and Publics grocery store less then 5 min. The host takes great care of the home she rents we can only hope it is available next trip to Charlotte form the Vermonters and Floridian's !

Nice, quiet place
This rental met our needs, including cooking meals. Kitchen was stocked with all of the basics. Very clean. Two minor things: The pillows in the twin bed room weren’t comfortable. more hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom! Would rent again for sure. Enjoyed the honey and fresh flowers. Thank you Julia!

Family Getaway
Perfect location for those who enjoy tranquility mixed with recreation. The farm offers the views and sounds to provide the relaxation we sought, and had the amenities within and nearby to entertain our children. Charlotte and Huntersville are a stones throw away for good coffee, restaurants, retail, etc. Julie (Host) graciously gifts Honey from the farm to welcome you into the clean, quaint cottage. She was readily available by email and texting for questions (we asked about the farms history) or concerns (we had none of course!) Don’t forget to read and sign their guestbook! We left behind a horse puzzle in honor of our visit with Keena :) There were other magazines, games, and puzzles tucked around the home; and bball and soccer ball. We will be sure to return if visiting again

Cozy Cottage
Communication was 2nd to none!! Julia goes out of her way for her guests! Her Cottage is nestled away from any city or highway noise, very peaceful and quiet. We had deer in the yard as we returned from our outings, ducks on the pond. The Cottage is Clean, very user friendly, great layout for guests to gather and visit. We stayed here to attend the Renaissance Festival and hang out in Charlotte. This place was so clean, the owner was incredibly hospitable and kind, and we loved how quiet it was. Would absolutely stay here again!

Home away from home for the weekend
We needed a place to stay for an event near Charlotte for the weekend. Since it was 2 adults and 2 kids we figured we'd look for a house instead of a hotel room. I'm so glad we did!! Julia made everything so easy from check in to check out. We arrived and it was extremely clean and up to date. They even have fresh flowers around the house including my favorite hydrangeas. I ended up working there all day Friday and the internet speeds were great. I'm actually sad we didn't get to spend more time there relaxing at the house because it's such a peaceful spot right outside the city. Julia makes the most amazing honey and lip balm and treats. We can't wait to visit here again!! While we'd love to keep it a secret, I know others will enjoy it just as much as we did!

What an awesome little place!!!
Stayed in Julia’s Cottage for the weekend, as me and three others were in town for the Georgia-Clemson game (Go Dawgs!!!). The cottage is honestly one of the nicest, most well-appointed places I’ve stayed. Period. Small, but spacious, and the attention to detail and “little things” are amazing! Communication with Julia was easy and she was quick to respond with answers to our questions. Not sure how anyone could give the cottage less than five stars…I only gave five, because there aren’t more!!! Next time I’m in Charlotte, I definitely hope Julia’s Cottage is available. I’d absolutely stay here again!!!!

Excellent House with Great Access to City Center
This beautiful home is located on some very sweet acreage with easy access to the city center. We had a wonderful friends reunion and attended the Van Gogh Exhibit. The location was perfect. Our hostess was delightful. She was very responsive to my questions and left us the sweetest hostess gift, honey from her bees! Yum! The house was well supplied for all of our cooking needs. It is well appointed and is very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much and hope we can return someday. We highly recommend this place!

Perfect, restful getaway!
We had a such a great time at the cottage! It is in a great location, 15-20 mins from just about anywhere in the city. The house was the perfect size for our family. Very cozy and super clean! Our boys loved exploring the wildlife and the farm. On the last night of our stay, Julia and her husband were kind enough to take the boys out fishing on the pond and touring around the farm. We were sad to leave but we plan on visiting again soon!
