“No one was available at the desk from 9pm on. Our shower rod fell down and no one was around to assist. We waited I til morning and no one was at the desk at 9am. We left, no shower. No closet, hangers, iron, hair dryer. Towels were of poor quality.”

“I really enjoyed my stay. I love historic properties, and this one has retained all its character and charm. The air was scented with Linden trees, there is an old oak with a 7-8 foot caliper, a restaurant, and live music in the Carriage house. Plus a wonderful plant nursery next door. It’s been awhile since my overall experience was so good that I wasn’t interested in nitpicking!”

“Great classic hotel, with friendly/helpful staff. Would stay again for sure. Minor issues: there were a couple of spots of dark mold in the corner of the walk-in shower. A bit of bleach, etc, could take care of that. Also, the furniture on our balcony was covered in a thick layer of dust/pollen. We asked that someone vacuum it and someone on staff told the front desk that they'd done it, but the balcony was never touched.”

“Bed is too soft. Room is very spacious for a queen bed. Breakfast has hot doods provided which is good. Just a one nite stay is ok.”

“The property was beautiful, exceptionally well-maintained, and spotless throughout. From the lobby to the guest rooms, everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully cared for. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even better. It was clear that great attention is given to both the appearance and upkeep of the hotel.
