“This is a nice quiet spot to relax and enjoy the San Luis Valley. Our host was available if needed. She responded to my questions quickly. It's family friendly with room to create your own space if necessary.”

“We had three families staying with children 1 -11 years old. The house is amazingly big and the outside area was perfect for the kids to play. The host was very responsive to questions. The location was perfect for easy access to hiking and fishing. The kitchen was large and well equipped, which was important since some of our party love to cook. The kids also loved feeding the goats which are located on the farm. We will definitely plan to stay here again.”

“Beautiful property. Very quiet and remote which made for a very relaxing stay. Rooms were comfortable. Kitchen pretty well stocked. Really appreciate having two sets of laundry machines to use. Fireplace made for a cozy environment. Reason I took off a star was this is not as pet friendly as advertised. Pets only allowed in garage and the garage was freezing. Host however was accommodating to allow our small elderly dogs to sleep inside in the crate provided.”

Arriving just after 9:15 PM, I was greeted by Dennis—and even a couple of deer standing nearby—which immediately set the tone for a memorable experience. True hospitality can be hard to find, but Dennis and Janet made me feel right at home. “Very clean with the exception of a strong mold/mildew smell and soft spots in the floor in the master bath. Spoke with host and it’s next on the list to get updated. Enjoyed watching the deer in the back and side yard. Lots of open room so it never felt cramped. Comfy bed and furniture. ”
