“Clean . New. Didn't like the fact my door was knocked on at 1100am saying I had to check out when my reservation said noon. The gentleman was rude. And rushed me out of there going so far as to follow me to the office and basically telling me to leave. Very unprofessional. That needs to get cleaned up. Nice place otherwise”

“A delightful stay at this beautiful, well-kept historic inn! The room and common areas were beautifully furnished and the cleanliness and amenities were comforting. The staff were knowledgeable, gracious, and helpful. We’ll be back!”

“The room smelled like the air conditioner filter had never been changed. The shower curtain bottom was sopped with water. The carpet was covered in debris. The television didn’t work. The nightstand lamp didn’t work and the desk lamp was missing a bulb. The window blinds were covered in filth. It was really bad.”

“For a contactless check-in method, the staff were very accessible -easy to communicate with; the method was great. The room was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. I met the owners and staff the morning after I checked in (late @ 11:45pm). They couldn't have been more hospitable. I stayed at the Walnut Inn out of necessity, attending a friend's father's funeral, and the Inn could not have been a better place for me to stay. “Quaint and comfortable stay for our one night in the most adorable town of Shelburne Falls. A walk to the river and the bridge of flowers at sunset gave us the most beautiful pictures. Owner was kind and helpful. We stayed here while my son biked at Thunder Mountain-a quick easy 10 min drive away and would stay again.”

“The place was fine--I don't demand much of a hotel. It is basically a place to sleep. However, more discerning travelers might have been upset by the fact that the supplemental door lock didn't work, one of the shelves in the closed was broken and the one day out of four that we had maid service, they seemed to only half finish the job. They may be very short of staff.”

“We spent the night after a wedding in nearby Northampton. It was a lovely place to return to at the end of a long day. We enjoyed our breakfast the following morning, both the buffet selections (especially the coffee cake muffins) as well as our conversation with staff member Kristen. We always try to support small businesses in the places where we travel and the Dasniel Stebbins House did not disappoint!”
