Er waren maar 11 slaapplaatsen i.p.v. 12\. Twee badkamers waren alleen via een slaapkamer te bereiken. De derde badkamer was wel een op zichzelfstaande ruimte. Uitslapen was lastig. Meeuwen krijsten dag en nacht en er reed nogal wat lawaaierig verkeer door de straat. De buren waren de gevel aan het renoveren en begonnen al tussen half 7 en 8 uur met klussen. Buiten kon je lekker zitten, maar er was weinig speelruimte voor kinderen. Het strand zat vol met wier en waterplanten. Bij de haven en op het strand stonk het behoorlijk. Een aantal kilometers verderop zijn we wezen zwemmen. Daar was het strand schoner en mooier. Handig dat veel activiteiten dichtbij te doen waren. Zoals bowlen, kajakken en een klimbos. Liefhebbers van geschiedenis komen ook aan hun trekken.
