“We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed.
Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .”

“Rosa delle Alpi is an exquisite boutique hotel with large and spacious rooms and only 12 rooms on a very large natural oversized acreage with the most incredible staff. they also have the best chefs and incredible meals for dinner at below market pricing. when we arrived late at the Varenna train station in a pouring rain storm. One of the managers came personally to pick us up because no uber, no taxis. it’s about half hour trip to the Hotel. the property is exquisite with wood and stone……

Außenbereich, Pool, Aussicht, Parkplätze
Negativ:
Das Zimmer war unterirdisch. Wenn es draußen wärmer wird, ist schlaf kaum möglich. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage sondern nur einen Deckenventilator, der kaum etwas rettet. Die Luft steht im Zimmer und wenn man das Fenster öffnet, hat man den Lärm der vielbefahrenen Straße. Es ist aber ohnehin unmöglich die Zimmertemperatur auf ein akzeptables Maß runterzubekommen, selbst wenn dann Nachts nur noch 18 Grad sind.
Platz für die Koffer ist kaum……
