It was our first time staying in Thomasville for a wedding in the city. It was nearby the venue and one of the best hotels in the city compared to some of the others I saw. Very quiet and clean. Our room was updated with hardwood floors and new furniture. The staff up front was always friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk lady was super nice

Just needed a place to stay for the night and this was a great place with privacy and quick check ins and check outs.

You won't get a pool, continental breakfast, exercise room, etc., and the front desk closes at 7pm (emergency phone number provided), but you won't pay for those things either. What they offer is a large and comfortable suite: living room/kitchen combo with full-sized kitchen appliances, and a bathroom down your hallway which leads to a separate bedroom. The interior is not fancy but it's clean, and the staff are super-friendly and helpful.

Hotel is easy to find. Checking in was fast and simple. Rooms were clean, staff was helpful. Everything worked we had no problems. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very nice. Our room was spacious and quite clean. The floor lamp was defective and when we told the lady at the desk, she replaced it for us. Breakfast was very nice. Only one thing that could have been better. While we were at breakfast, the cleaning staff entered our room and removed the sheets and dirty towels. Our things were still in the room and I think it would have been much better if they waited until we were checked out to enter and start the cleaning process. ...

Didn’t realize when I booked but the location had a complementary wine tasting. Everyone who went to it was sooo personable. Normally not my scene, but everyone was so welcoming. Great breakfast spread too. The area is very walkable. I took a nearby path and ended up at Salem College very close by. It is America’s oldest women’s college dating back to colonial times. Many of the buildings look that old, but are very well kept. Just a beautiful experience all around. Clean rooms too!

I use to live in Greensboro for many many years and always thought this looked like a fun place to stay. I have eaten at the green valley grill but had never had the pleasure of staying at the o’Henry. I was in town for a night decided to stay here. The hotel is gorgeous. The room is spacious! It is very elegant and classy..reminiscent of “old money”. I would stay again if ever given the opportunity

We stayed at the "sister property" (the O'Henry) several times but had not stayed at the Proximity. We tried but COVID or one thing or another led to not making our trip. We had met the original owners and then knew about their transfer to the employees. What a terrific thing for an employer to do and what a great deal for the employees. Great hotel! All brand new, with shops and restaurants close by. This will be our destination anytime we are in the area!

We enjoyed our stay all the amenities were great. The staff was very accommodating. Hannah was amazing! My kids enjoyed our staycation with friends.
