The resort is beautiful, with spotless rooms, well-maintained grounds, and staff who work hard to keep everything looking great, including regularly clearing seaweed from the beach. The pools were also a highlight of our stay. We stayed in Unique, and the added amenities were definitely worth it. “Amazing property, couldn t be cleaner. The staff are trained at a very highly level; all very courteous; we really enjoyed the various restaurants and considering it is an all inclusive the food was actually pretty good. I have been to DR 3 times and would for sure consider staying here again. It was my wedding anniversary and they even had a ribbon on your door celebrating us! Loved every moment thank you for making our time wonderful”

“Apartamentos cómodos, resort tranquilo y pequeño ideal para descansar, menú y restaurantes limitados pero cocinan sabroso, buen servicio del staff, la oferta de entretenimiento es pobre, no tienen shows x la noche y el lugar para asistir en la noche es una terraza en la playa sin techo para protegerse de la lluvia, el área de la piscina tiene pobre iluminación pudiendo causar accidentes de noche. No tienen servicio de mozo para bebidas en la piscina, por lo que hay que caminar hasta la barra……

“Catalonia Royal Bavaro was alright. I love the duplex suites. Those are great with the private pool. Unfortunately the last 3 nights of my stay the AC stopped working upstairs in the bedroom. I slept on a pull out couch on the main floor as the AC on that floor was working good. The food isn't the greatest. I would give the food 5/10. Not much of a selection. Everytime I went up for my 2nd plate. I would come back and my drink would be gone. My fork and knife would be gone. I would have to wait……

“Pools were nice, two slides at the water park were not working, beach was unusable due to sargasm stench and presence, staff was friendly and helpful, bar service was slow even when not crowded, buffet quality and selection was not that great.”
