“Soooooo smelly”

“The room was clean and ready when I arrived which was a bit earlier than check-in allowed, but I called in advance to see if they could accommodate my earlier arrival time. They made no guarantees but said it shouldn't be a problem, which it wasn't. The staff was so friendly. Safe area. I texted the number provided for coffee in the morning, and it was delivered right to my room- they even included ice like I requested, but wasn't sure if they had it. Amazing experience. “This property is NOT IHG quality! Pros: Walkable location for downtown New London events, fairly clean, spotty customer service. Cons: This property is SEVERELY outdated and VERY overpriced. Bathroom looked like a hospital bathroom with ZERO updates to the room. The price charged ($405.95) is OUTRAGEOUS. The property definitely changes room rates based on demand and events int the area. “The property looks vacant/closed when you drive by. Looks like it hasn’t been open in years. When we checked in there was an issue between the staff about what rooms were cleaned and not cleaned. When we got to our room it was tiny and super dark, even with all of the lights on. The armchair looked to have an old bullet hole and tones of mystery stains all over it.
