“Staff were friendly and very welcoming. We found a few maintenance things that they sprung into action to take care of. We were in a suite with a sitting room. The room was quaint and offered a wonderful outdoor porch. The only con to our stay is how uncomfortable the bed was. It was hard and spring filled which kept us tossing most the night with lack of comfort. We left before breakfast, so we aren’t sure how that was, but it smelled good! We did dine at the in house restaurant. It was ok,……

“Our room was pretty good. The bed linens and beds seemed to be okay. But if you walked across the floor barefooted, the bottom of your feet were black. The hot water took forever to become warm and never got really hot. The ice machine is open for people to get the ice out with their hands if they wanted or whatever (not a sanitary ice machine.) “The parking lot is definitely tight and requires you to turn around in a tight space. I don’t recommend bringing big cars. Most of the rooms overlook parking lots on both sides so we had to keep the shades closed most of the time. That being said it was super clean. They provide a great number of towels which was appreciated - and they were super soft. The property was old but that allows you to be right on the beach with beach access so it’s a great trade up. “We've stayed here multiple times and have found it perfect for us. We get poolside rooms, because they are all 1st floor, ocean side can be 2nd floor (no elevator).You literally walk through a breeze way and your on the beach. Staff are friendly, restaurants are in walking distance and pool is kept clean. We highly recommend!”

However, there was a lot of construction plastic on the first floor, but no construction was being conducted at the time, making the hallway very dark compared to the second floor, where it was very well lit and bright in the hallway.
