“This was the perfect place for a quick 2 night mini-honeymoon after our wedding. The grounds and River House were beautifully kept. We rented a little EV cart to explore and it was the best decision, we really loved roaming around through the woods and taking in the beautiful scenery. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. My only wish is that there were options onsite for dinner and drinks at the cute little bar, but I understand the demand is likely not……

“I booked this hotel because it advertised an EV charging station. Not only did the EV charging not work but they didn’t seem too bothered that a regular car was parked in the spot - even though there’s was lots of other spots. Receptionist directed me to another paid charger 2km away and seemed to think this was reasonable! I choose hotels with EV charging so I can charge while I sleep and ready to go first thing in the morning. Additionally the carpets were dirty throughout the entire hotel.……

“This is a cute boutique hotel. It is a little different because there is not really staff on property. Rather, access is granted remotely. There is a bar a restaurant that is on the lower level so there can be a little noise is you are sensitive to that. Also, all patrons have access to the room hallway which may make some uncomfortable. But it is a small, safe town so I would not be concerned.”
