“This 2-bedroom apartment (essentially one whole floor on ground level) is extremely clean, well-stocked with kitchen necessities, and organized (every cupboard is labelled on the outside). There are books and games for rain days. The view outside is amazing between two mountain ranges. The hot tub is in the front yard, but there is a privacy fence on two sides. Think of it as going to a public beach (though we didn't see anyone else when we were out there). The host is obviously very friendly……

"Great cozy lodge! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was provided. The entire felt historic, rooms were cozy, and the views you get from the rooms and the breakfast dining room was amazing. Parking was slightly uneasy as there wasn’t markings outside of the lodge, during peak or busy summer times, if all the rooms are occupied, be prepared that the parking space outside he property will all be occupied too. Driving into the lodge was a long 80km/h road which was dark from the Kicking horse Drive sitting on top of the Columbia River. Can be a little scary to drive through in the evening. Everything else was fine."

"The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep."
