“Dated hotel - nothing fancy. Breakfast: A lot of pre-packaged breakfast items, no fresh breads or bagels, I didn't see yogurt/fresh fruit, a few typical warm food items (eggs/a meat/french toast slices) offered. Good coffee. Room: good air-conditioning, but pillow stuffing all balled up inside every pillow provided, bed bumpy and uncomfortable. Patio door falling apart/curtain draws need fixing. Staff not typically engaging with people at front desk or during breakfast. Check-in: Two staff at……

“The breakfast was above average for a hotel in this class with nice cheese omelets and sausage links each morning, in addition to other things that I didn't eat. The pool area needs some love. They do have a pool but the lighting there is very dim and dark and it feels "scary" for kids to swim there. It's like the backrooms. The room's beds were comfortable and clean. The room wasn't cleaned after the first night until I checked on that around 5pm.”

“This is a lovely, unpretentious motel located in Murphy. Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. It is about a 10-12 minute drive to the John C Campbell Folk School and easy driving to various trails and scenic spots.”

“The cabin was clean and very comfortable, and the staff was kind and patient (being tired after a long day on the road and a little absent minded I immediately locked my key in the room lol). The only glitch was that the hot tub was inoperative at first, but they sent someone down right away to fix it. We were looking forward to jumping in after our long day on the road, and so we had to wait quite a while for it to heat up enough to use, but at least we did get to use it and it was lovely. ……

“Paying $300.00 a night was too expensive for what the Hampton Inn offered. Checking in was so unprofessional and unwelcoming. We did not know that our room would only be cleaned every other day. After unpacking, we were uncomfortable at how unkept our room was. It smelled, and the floor had about an inch of dust on it. The friendliest employees were the cleaning staff, so maybe they are understaffed??”

“We have river view from balcony and it is beautiful. Room is clean. And location is close proximity and super convenient to nearby restaurants, cafes, diners across the street, up and down the road. Our room is a little bit out dated but the river view makes up for it. We're enjoying ourselves and give this place a positive review. It's exactly the vibe and pace we needed 👍”
