“New owners took over and they are working diligently to improve the facility. The only issue I had was trying to phone ahead and let them know that I would be a late arrival.
No phones working at time of check in. But they had supplier working on this issue and has been resolved.

“THIS HOTEL NO LONGER EXISTS - It is now a Travelodge by Wyndham, so the ability to book heough the Stage Coach Inn should actually be removed from Expedia. The hotel is under MAJOR renovations, there are basically zero amenities (except for toast/cereal and some fruit for the breakfast).
I booked 2 rooms April 11, 2026 for a stay June 26, 2026 - and when we arrived we were told the hotel had been sold and our booking did not exist. Travelling cross-country from Ontario, Canada, to Southern……

“My wife, son, his fiance, and I stayed there for two nights as we visited Lake McConaughy. It was a great place to stay and made this a wonderful family vacation. Very clean and homey with everything you need. Excellent communication abilities with the Host. Would highly recommend this place to others.”
