“One night!, no air conditioning… Tough nights sleep?.. very hot Wedding party took over the place one night. No where to sit down… It’s was just bad timing Other visits have been enjoyable”

“Owner is super lovely and place is in decent location. However, wifi did NOT work and we were only 3 doors down from office, there were stains on all our comforters and sheets, and there was black mold patches on the bathroom ceiling above the shower. I understand with a 3 star hotel you get some subpar stays but this one was def rough. Stars given are only for nice lady with recommendations”

“The Beach House Inn is a very nice property in a terrific location. We chose a lower priced room, so looked out onto the parking lot. Overall, our stay was great and we really enjoyed it. There were only two detractors and they're here for information; not to prevent anyone from choosing this property. It's an older building and the walls are quite thin. We were privy to the conversation of our next door neighbors (and they were just speaking to each other in a normal tone; not being loud).……

“I loved this place! It was beautiful and quaint. The rooms are really great. Staff is wonderful and very friendly and nice. The location is great because it is right on Main Street. Lots of restaurants and shops to walk to. Brick Stone Museum is right down the street. Parking is convenient in the back of the Inn. I hope I get to stay here again.”

“This was my husband and I first stay at Drakes Island and we loved it. The staff and the cottage was amazing. This is our new place to stay in Wells. We will be back next year!”

“We went to pick up our room key and my husband was told he could not check us in because our room was in my name ! Then she was quite unfriendly while spouting off all the rules and made me feel like I was out to steal towels and ruin the room . The room we got into was not at all comfortable to sit in as the two hardwood chairs that we had were under a tv in a small space with a bed the size of the room , very soft and awkward , one plug in spot and small table with a Walmart fridge , hot plate……

“The hotel room was very clean and had lots of soft towels! Our room was fabulous and had a private hot tub on the patio and a gorgeous ocean view. The hotel staff members were friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful. I hope to return next summer!”

“Beautiful stay”

“This is a great little spot on the west side of the boardwalk and pier. Very short walk to everything! Not right on the beach but directly across the street. The hotel offers beach chairs and other beach equipment such as pails and shovels and boogie boards for guest use. Peter and Lisa are delightful! There is a pool and an awesome BBQ area in the back with tables and chairs, grills microwave and toaster, utensils and condiments. We'll definitely be back!”
