The Sea Glass Cottage offers an unforgettable Garden Isle vacation. This custom-designed Hawaiian style Cottage is located just steps from Poipu Beach. The 2-bedroom, 2 bath Sea Glass Cottage graciously combines the beauty and simplicity of a classic Hawaiian home with all the conveniences of the 21st century. The cottage melds seamlessly with the historic neighborhood and the adjacent ancient Hawaiian Village. Its airy and open island style mixes old Hawaii and modern luxury.

From the minute you walk in the door at the Sea Glass Cottage you will know you made the right decision. The cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable with its large Lanai and beautifully landscaped yard. It's definitely a welcomed treasure to the Poipu Beach area.

The home offers two master suites with large walk-in showers, plush king beds, ample closets, smart TVs and access to the double outdoor shower. Step out through the indoor shower to the outdoor shower to shower under the star filled Hawaiian sky. Come spend time on the spacious covered lanai, which opens up to the indoor spaces through a folding glass wall that allows the indoor and outdoor spaces to truly become one. Eat at the outdoor dining table and relax in the cool trade winds while catching a glimpse of our beautiful Hawaiian waters or watching the widescreen TV in the living room. The cottage’s gourmet kitchen is equipped with a gas range, Kitchen Aid appliances, granite countertops, open shelving and a Keurig for your favorite hot drinks. Enjoy the convenience of a full laundry, which includes a large capacity washer and dryer and a deep laundry room sink with ample countertop space.

Whether inside or outside, the cottage is designed to provide relaxation and comfort. Ceiling fans enhance the island trade winds in keeping the cottage cool. The abundant landscaping highlights the scents and beauty of Hawaiian plants. Just steps from Poipu Beach, guests begin the day watching the sunrise from the lanai while enjoying your morning cup of coffee, followed by a day of beach activities and ending the day with drinks on the lanai and steaks on the outdoor grill. All beach amenities including beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler, a beach wagon and beach towels for your day at the beach are provided for your use.

Whether you are on Kauai to see the Humpback whales, to relax on our beautiful beaches, snorkel the calm waters of Poipu Beach, or to simply escape, the Sea Glass Cottage provides the ideal Hawaiian vacation spot. Along with being a block to the beach and to Brennecke’s restaurant, the cottage is also located a short distance to Kalapaki Joe’s Sports Bar, the Hyatt Regency/Shipwreck Beach, the Poipu Shopping center, Starbucks, numerous other restaurants and the Poipu Kai greenbelt walking path. Tour boats to Napali Coast are 20 minutes away in Port Allen as well as Kauai Coffee’s coffee farm. The Kiahuna and Grand Hyatt golf courses offer challenges for any golfer. Five minutes away, the Kukuiula Shopping Center provides upscale restaurants and shopping for art, keepsakes and clothing. Local farmer’s markets are held in the area and highlight local produce and crafts. Nature lovers will love seeing turtles and Monk seals on the beach and the beautiful arboreatums on the island.

5 stars start to finish. Beth and Tina are wonderful hosts, and were accommodating and helpful when our plans and dates changed. The home itself is also perfect. We loved the outdoor spaces where we could relax and read for hours, enjoying the breezes. The location made it so convenient for our favorite beach, less than a 5 min walk to Brenneckes.

Wonderful home short walk to the beach

Great home for two couples close to the beach. Wonderful open living/ kitchen with great sliding door to the deck. The breezes when open were amazing!

Family vacation

We were very impressed by the house. Very clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds and pillows were very nice. It was hot and humid but the AC in the bedrooms helped. The kitchen was so good that it made me feel like it was my own kitchen at home. Everything worked perfectly and finally the location so close to the beach made it great !

This place was AWESOME. Somehow it was even better than the pictures show. We opened the wall of doors every day and loved the in-door, out-door experience. Turtles on the beach at dusk, monk seal on the beach which was just a short walk away. Quiet dead-end street. Just perfect. No missing amenities. Love, love, loved it!

This house was amazing. Great location, well stocked, and very clean. The house had everything we needed for the beach including beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and a wagon. This was our third visit to Poipu and this was by far our favorite rental. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful lanai enjoying the sounds of the ocean. We look forward to our next stay.

Great Location Close To Beach

Loved our stay in this cute cottage with our adult kiddos. Kitchen was well equipped with all that we needed and loved the colorful fun Fiestaware. Beautiful lanai with cascading doors. Great location close to beach and Brennecke’s. Would definitely come back & stay here!

Poipu Paradise

Seaglass cottage is truly a spectacular spot. Three houses from the beach park is close enough to run down for a quick dip in the ocean but far enough away to be able to ignore the traffic. The house has everything you need for cooking and enjoying the beach. The native plant landscaping, welcoming lanai, and outdoor shower ensure you feel the island ohana all day long.

A little corner of paradise.

We couldn’t have been happier perched at Beth and Tina’s amazing home. The street is lovely, and we felt really connected to the island community. The owners (as well as the on island point of contact) were easy to work with, and replied immediately. I’ve never enjoyed outdoor dining so much - my 2 year old and I ate breakfast on the lanai listening to the roosters and loved every second of it. It’s a short walk to a protected beach perfect for our new swimmer.

Fabulous cottage, fabulous location

We brought my parents to Kauai (in their late 70s). This was a very comfortable home for all of us and very convenient to the beach, sea life, restaurants, and other sites. The amenities provided are perfect for beach days. The accordion doors are on point for evening games, dinner, or reading.

Perfect place and location for us

We were very happy with the property and location. Also having the beach gear and towels available was very convenient. Quiet neighborhood and front porch area was perfect for diner or just hanging out. We saw turtles and monk seals almost every day at Poipu Beach and the restaurants in the area are fantastic along with a cute Asian market in the town of Koloa to get groceries, along with very cute gift shops.

A private, well appointed place to relax that's a short walk from the beach

We couldn't be happier with our choice to spend our 40th anniversary in this comfortable home. The home is well appointed and the outdoor patio is an awesome place to relax. And everything is so close — beaches, restaurants, bars, sea turtles. We loved the home and loved the location. 5/5 stars!

Kauai Cottage Heaven

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sea Glass Cottage. It had everything we needed - from a well equipped kitchen to great beach accessories. The cottage is clean, well maintained and designed, with lots of attention to detail, and is perfectly located just a block from the beach and a short walk for shave ice every evening. The lanai was a perfect place to relax at anytime during the day or evening. The outdoor showers were a great addition and perfect for a rinse after a day in the ocean. We would love to return!

Great House

Place lives up to its pictures. Perfect place for 2 couples. 3 houses from the beach. The sliding glass doors were open the whole time to give you a perfect indoor/outdoor living space. Bedrooms are great. Kitchen has everything thing you need. Highly recommend to everyone.

Truly Fabulous Cottage

Sea Glass Cottage was the very best. Its location is within walking distance to the beach, the cottage was clean and had so many special details. The lanai is as great as they get! The property manager quickly responded to our questions and the owners sincerely welcoming. If only I could live there forever. My highest ratings for Sea Glass Cottage!

Peace and relaxation (and roosters)

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The property is exactly as described - a quiet spot very close to Poipu beach. It was so nice to be able to stroll back from the beach when we wanted to get some shade/relief from the sun - seeing other folks heading to the parking lot toting everything for a day at the beach, knowing we were right there was perfect. The access to town, distance from the airport, etc, was just right - and being able to walk to Kalapaki Joe's was a nice break from traveling by car everywhere else on the islands. We'll be back, and until then, I'll be thinking about showering under the stars after beautiful sunsets.... sleeping peacefully in B&T's beautiful house, until those Kauai roosters wake me up to enjoy it all again.

This house is perfect

From the location of the property, to the property itself, this home is perfect. This home sits on a quiet street and is steps to the beach. The house is extremely clean and is well suited for a family of 4 or 2 couples. The front porch that opens to the inside is just paradise. Don't look any further, you will love this house as much as my family and I did. We will be back!

Incredible stay…

We’ve stayed in at least a dozen plus properties in Kauai from hanalei to Kekaha. This was our first house rental in poipu. Tina and Beth’s place is incredible… the location steps to the beach; sliding doors that open to a beautiful lanai that connected indoor with outdoor living; the beautiful double outdoor showers; the perfect setup in the kitchen for home cooked meals; impeccable cleanliness inside AND outside… all in all, we loved our stay. Looks like no expense was spared when it came to decor- really high end everything: door knobs, cabinet pulls, lighting, shades, swivel chairs, cookware… just incredible. Mahalo for such a thoughtful and generous place!

Wonderful retreat

We had the pleasure of enjoying The Sea Glass House for a one week in October with our close friends. This house exceeded all our expectations: it's modern, conveniently located near the beach, and impeccably designed. The enchanting outdoor space was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and served as our gathering place to plan our day's adventures. Moreover, the kitchen had everything you need and even more, making it a joy to prepare meals together. Everything in this house was very well thought out for convenience and pleasure! We're already in the process of making plans to return to this wonderful retreat one day. Thank you for providing us with this beautiful and special island home that made our week getaway with close friends unforgettable !
