"Lovely 1 night stay at the Michigan Ave Intercontinental Hotel. Very convenient with Valet Parking now right on Michigan Ave in front of the property! Rooms were comfortable and updated. Friendly staff and allowed us to check in before noon! Don't love the amenity fee for a 1 night stay when we used nothing....but it is what it is."

"The staff is so friendly. The location is amazing. I wish the coffee was 24:7 maybe it was just like an off day or so. It was just empty a few times but I sleep in. I loved this place"

"We were on the 3rd floor, which was very quiet. Our room was nice and comfortable. It's downtown so parking is a challenge. When choosing this hotel, I read that there was on site parking for $58 a night. I was fine with that but when we checked in, I was told that there was no in/out allowed. So, we paid $82 per night for valet parking. We checked in around 9pm. The lobby was fairly empty but there was a DJ playing very loud music. I had trouble hearing what the front desk clerk was saying to me, especially when explaining the parking situation. We would stay there again as the location was perfect for walking to the Harry Potter Store!"

"Loved staying here! Rooms are smaller but perfect amenities. Pillows are the perfect fluffiness not lumpy. The sheets were silky. Espresso machine was devine. Price very competitive. A short walk to Michigan avenue. Would stay here everytime I am in town."
