"We found the rental to be mostly clean and as described. Be aware if you travel in the summer that it can still be warm on the mountain, and this unit doesn’t have AC. It was very stuffy for us, even with fans. There is a stale smell, probably from lack of AC. There are several updates that need to be considered by the owner. The bed is very uncomfortable. "Friendly staff! Note: lobby was locked upon our arrival. There was a note posted on the door with a phone number to call for assistance. A very pleasant woman arrived to check us in within 3 minutes after we phoned. She gave us all the info we needed to enjoy our stay. Check-out was just as easy and nice. We were in a king room #104. All was clean and in working order. The bed was comfortable and we did not hear any noise from neighboring rooms. Parking was just outside our room. The inn is a five-minute walk to shopping and eateries. Blowing Rock is a beautiful town with lots of flowers and trees in bloom."
