“This is a very old mom and pop motel that has been updated. The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Laminate flooring...no nasty carpet. The bathroom/shower is very clean but very outdated but functional. Big Bear Lodge is a motel, central to several parks, shopping and restaurants. If you want a room with coffee, fridge,microwave and air conditioning, central to parks and restaurants this would be a good motel for your next stay.”

“Close to highway 31 so there was some noise from the road. It was close to the water but rocks were in front of the property so you couldn’t swim there. They did have a dock that you could walk on. Also they had a marina right next to the Cottages and we did rent a boat. The cottage was lovely and had everything you needed so that you could cook in.”

“We had room 4 and the beach was beautiful but the room was soooo DIRTY! Whoever mopped the floors left dirt swirls on the floor, the sheets had stains, it was probably the dirtiest room I have ever been in! Plus the furniture and walls were gross! I didnt even sleep under the covers. YUCK!”
