“For my needs, it was conveniently located and easily accessible by freeway or public bus. Property needs an outdoor smoming area to be perfect.”

“My daughter, best friend and I really enjoyed our stay! The house is located directly across from the beach with views from the patio off one of the rooms. Very short walk to multiple costal access points and restaurants. The house was very clean, cozy and well stocked. I wish there were screens on the windows so that we could’ve kept them open more and an earlier check in would’ve been awesome! Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.”

“The place was nice and clean. I was expecting my security deposit back and I did not receive it cause I was charged for some towels and bed sheet that was stained $225 dollars not fair! Even tho we fixed the broken handle on the stove and our door went bad since the fridge didn't keep our food cold enough. I did not want to complain cause I really they wasn't gonna play me with my deposit but that was very unfair all of that comes off in the wash I'm sure ”

“Had everything we needed, short walk to local restaurants. Interior stairs are a little arduous, outdoor stairs are easier with bags. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean.”

“Decent property for the price. The kitchen was a challenge due to limited amenities. Vents in bathroom need cleaning. Communication was cumbersome. The portal was not user friendly and no one ever picked up the phone, I recommend a hotel for this price. ”

“The host was extremely responsive and the property was exactly as described. The parking spot provided is tricky to maneuver and requires two people to avoid damaging your car on all the obstacles. The shower is tricky too, so be sure to ask before you arrive. The property also smells a bit damp/musty, so maybe bring some room spray or a candle. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would definitely rebook the space for our next visit to Berkeley.”

“Diana’s penthouse is a quiet retreat with ocean view and beach access within walking distance. The studio is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. There is a beautiful deck with an ocean view to enjoy. Highly recommend!”

“Stayed with family for competition at events center. Conveniently located. Easy to get to center. Quiet safe neighborhood, beautiful home, layout was great for us, but might be a challenge for families with small kids due to 3rd room in basement and separate unit sort of but that is great for families with teens or multiple families. Close to mall and restaurants but still quiet. I was able to run to Bay Trail (about 4 miles away) which is beautiful but if you don’t want to run there it is a……

“This was a lovely stay in a beautiful neighborhood of Alameda. The apartment was easy to access, clean and cozy. It felt like a mini vacation getaway even though I was there for work. And Marti was a lovely host.”

“This 2-unit gem exceeded our expectations. The view of the ocean, indoor and outdoor space on both floors, 10 rooms with plenty of room for people to sleep as well as hangout, created a magical weekend for our family and friends. We have many young children in the party and the house felt safe and accommodating. The host was responsive and very helpful. We would absolutely come back again!”
