“We loved the property. Pacifica is close to San Francisco so was perfect for us to be able to see all we wanted to see. The house had all the amenities we needed, though possibly not AC. If it does, we couldn’t figure it out, but it was cool enough we could open the windows and that worked out just fine. We appreciated the washer and dryer, that made a big difference for us as did having three bedrooms. This is a great property and the host was wonderful and responsive. My husband made great use……

“Walked into the door and BAM! Husband and started having breathing problems. My face started swelling and itching I have barely non existent allergies and previous history of asthma. It smelled so bad and perfume and scented cleaners. Walked into the unit. Dirty all over the inside of the front door. It’s literally a room with a bed. There is NO bathroom door. Just a weird plastic half door. Soap bubbling at the bottom of the sink. Mold on the baseboards. Had to relocate immediately in order……

“The initial property we booked to stay in was cancelled for some reason after we arrived. VRBO helped us find this location at short notice, and we were very pleased. The host was kind and responsive, and the property was clean and extremely secure, We found the beds very comfortable. There was easy access to the San Francisco airport and many restaurants available close to the property. One thing to note, the towels and washcloths were clean and plentiful, but they are a bit older. If that……

“Booked this place in spite of having no reviews to go on. Ahead of checking in, we received notice that the owner wanted a 300 damage deposit, which isn’t mentioned anywhere in the listing. When we got to the property, the unit smelled of cat pee, there were mold/mildew stains on the shower curtain, and the walls were so paper-thin that we could hear everything from the other units. It served its purpose as a place to sleep at night, but that’s the only good part about it.”

“Arlene was a great communicative host, who was quick to respond to our inquiries. The property is comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We very much enjoyed watching movies on the 75 inch TV, additionally the king size bed was very comfortable. We didn’t really take advantage of the smart home features. The walk to the beach was great and very close by. I would choose to stay here again if/when I return to Pacifica.”

“The best thing was parking. It was super easy. As long as no other car take up the designated parking spot in front of the grass (which no one did). I rented a car, and I mean, if you're visiting the Bay Area you should rent a car. The main issue I had was that the shower drain was clogged. Other than that, it's a studio and felt like a studio. It was also a bit annoying that there was a sign that you could only use 1 of each of the following at a time: the coffee machine, the microwave, and……

“The property was perfect for our family of four. The host clearly pays attention to detail and ensures the apartment has everything you might need. We appreciated having parking available that was easy to get in and out of and we were close enough to downtown SF that the drive was not at all inconvenient. Having access to laundry and two bathrooms was a huge plus for our family and the massage chair was an excellent bonus that we all enjoyed.”
