"Great location in the Shenandoah National Park with all of the hiking and other activities it has to offer. The rooms were a bit dated, but met our needs. The food was OK and a bit pricey, but the views from the dining room made eating there a great experience."

"The trails on and around this location were excellent."

"Lovely Inn to stay at--- pleasant folks Good restaurant and a very nice spa Love the ambiance of this old building."

"perfect 1 night stay"

"Great location. Small town, good Italian restaurant right next door."

"Easy access off of 95. The room was in excellent condition, very clean, and the staff was kind. The bed was exceptionally comfortable."

"Spacious and clean"

"I enjoyed my stay at Cardinal Inn. The room was clean, comfortable and pretty quiet. There is a good-sized grassy area in front that my dog enjoyed walking in."

"The cabin was perfectly clean and the staff was very friendly. The grounds were immaculate too! I can't remember if it was in the instructions or not, but be sure to bring blankets or comforters. If I had any complaint, it was that visitors didn't know how to park (leaving too much space between vehicles). We didn't have an opportunity to use the pool or other amenities but I would definitely come back."

"The place is super clean and the manager is so friendly! I only put a 4 for the amenities because the vent in our bathroom really doesn’t dry the moisture unless we leave the door open. We would definitely stay here again."

"Wonderful, communicative host in a beautiful, quiet area. Would definitely come back again!"

"The decorations and location is fantastic"

"We really enjoyed the game room in the basement! We had a great time as a family."

"Very relaxing and peaceful Worth every penny Just wishing we would have had the time to stay longer"

"Was a beautiful location and best part was it was right on the river. Had a great time visit"

"Great location smooth transaction"

"This was the perfect weekend getaway. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. My husband and I needed some tranquility and time to be re grounded. The view of the mountain was fabulous."

"Beautiful, quiet, and peaceful! Just what we needed after traveling for a week."

"It was a nice spot by the river."

"Wonderful vibes near Shenandoah National Park (~20 minute drive). The hot tub fits well for 3-4 people, and the water feels amazing. Our favorite part! There is a campfire with logs near it; can be difficult to start a fire if not experienced ... should come prepared with fire starters. Bedrooms are comfortable, and there are Roku TVs with Disney+ and Netflix as well as board games for the family or friends to spend time together indoors."
