“Lubec is lovely - the easternmost village in the United States. Lovely views from the room over the sound to Canadian islands, and you can drive across on a single-lane bridge. Almost no commercial razzmatazz unlike much of coastal Maine. The Inn on the Wharf and attached restaurant was fine. Other reviews have rightly noted that the restaurant can be loud, and service is pretty slow. For once, decent coffee, both in the restaurant and in the rooms. Slight minus: bath plug stuck on half-closed,...

“Very friendly host, thoughtful and attentive. ”

“I was apprehensive about renting a room, but it turns ed out to be a very niece place. Not many choices in Lubec ME. Very nice bar restaurant, Water Street Tavern, in walking distance. Room was very well appointed. Glad I didn't let the pictures change my decision.”

“Had a wonderful stay! Highly recommend. Place was exactly as described and was very clean. Very comfortable beds and the towel and soap bundles in each room was a great touch. The outdoor deck and backyard was a great place to relax and they even provided firewood though we didn’t have a fire. Great location to all the island’s attractions.”

“Comfy and cozy but quite spacious room! And I wanted to take the bed home with me, it was that wonderful. Patrick was helpful and responsive although we barely had to bother him because we had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed another night or two!”

“The location was perfect and the room was spotless and comfortable.”

“This beautiful rental is worth making a trip to Downeast Maine stay in. The description reveals lots of steps - so be aware of that - but they are sturdy and we found them easy to climb. The views are spectacular & we lived in the deck the evening we arrived. The sun rises over a lighthouse on Campobello Island & I watched it from our deck. Outstanding! Our host met us as we arrived and all communication was precise and timely. The apartment has 2 lovely, large bedrooms & the beds are...

“We were very comfortable for 2 weeks.”

“This was our second stay at this property. We love it for its coziness , tranquility and proximity to the coast and Canadian border. Maryjane is very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. We highly recommend booking with this hostess!!”

“A lovely one bedroom, nice kitchen, large deck, living room right on Harris Point abot two miles from Eastport. Communication with host was great. I'm planning on returning next year.”

“What an incredible stat! The house is airy and well-appointed! Geno is responsive and friendly! The location and amenities can’t be beat! Amazing kitchen for cooking family meals, lots of shared space for socializing, and comfy beds! The pool is a definite highlight! The location is incredible. We walked into town every morning. We stay in lined every year and this was the best! Thank you so much for the best family vacation!”

“Spectacular views, clean, excellent location, large rooms and well equipped.”

“The only issues I had Was when I got to my cabin the bed had not been made and the trash was not empty from the people before so we had to go to the red barn wash our bedding before we could sleep that night. Also the ad said 1 bedroom 1 bathroom there was no bathroom in the cabin it was in the red barn”

“Great location on Campobello island. Nice screened in porch and wrap around porch. Great views. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again.”
