"The cottage is cozy and perfect for 2 people. The large deck and propane fire pit was lovely in mornings for coffee and evenings to watch the sunset. The hot tub was perfect for warming up after hikes. The location is great for getting to the beautiful hikes and beaches around Port Renfrew. "We usually come up to Port Renfrew in August of each year, four of us to do some fishing. Over the years, we have stayed at at least four different vacation rentals. Everything about the accommodation was better than the other ones except for three small items. It was substantially larger, had a nice yard and fire pit [which we were unable to use due to fire restrictions] and space to play yard games, lots of room inside, all the beds are comfortable the kitchen was well equipped. "The accommodation was immaculately clean and the kitchen had everything you need to cook great food. It was big enough for the three of us, but I'm not sure we could have had an additional teenager with us. I found the reminders about the check-in/check-out process a little too much. Who wants to be on holiday and constantly reminded that you need to check out at 10am? Also, the mattress on the bed was uncomfortable and probably needs to be replaced.
