"5 star home with a 3 star kitchen. We loved all the space and the amenities offered at this home. It was very close to everywhere we wanted to be- Baraboo, Dells, and Portage. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 children. We would consider staying here again but would plan our meals differently. As a large family we try to save money when we travel by cooking meals where we stay. This kitchen was missing a lot of basic items and things were stored very haphazardly. Drawers are old and falling out so digging around for what you need is difficult. Items I could not find included- liquid measuring cup, full set of measuring cups and spoons, kitchen tongs (there are grill tongs), whisk, and more than one cooking spoon that isn’t slotted, and a dish rag or sponge to wipe counters and table. Biggest issue trying to cook our Easter meal was that oven was a strange, small, German unit. My yeasted items- cinnamon rolls and breads did not rise and cook through and were inedible- temp might be off. Ham had to be cut in pieces prior to cooking to fill the tiny oven. I say all this not to be overly critical but to help the next renter if they plan to cook. Host was responsive and helpful. If you aren’t cooking much do not hesitate to book this home. "

The host, Jennifer, was always so timely in her responses leading up to our stay and very friendly. We didn’t need to contact her once after we arrived because everything went flawlessly. "When the host says, all you need to bring is some food they were not kidding. The space was lovely and large enough to accommodate our family. Everything was clean and it had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area!!"
