The property itself is beautiful — the infrastructure is gorgeous, the staff are extremely friendly, the amenities are genuinely useful, and the restaurant is outstanding. The hotel sits outside the small towns of Puglia rather than inside one of them, so you'll need a car to get around. Honestly, though, I think that's the best way to experience the region — staying in one of the small towns means very limited availability, whereas a hotel like this puts you……

“The main hotel reception, restaurant, bar and pool were lovely. The rooms very nice and clean however the decking on the lodges was appalling and very dangerous. Nails sticking out, cracked and rotten boards. You felt like you were going to fall through. Also in the restaurant they don’t chill or cover the deli meets and cheese so they have flies all over them and and dangerous to eat sitting in the heat for hours. If they fix those few things the place could be wonderful. But urgently they need……

The property is beautiful, peaceful and ideally located for exploring many of Puglia’s traditional villages and towns. “The hotel was quite a disappointment. We were there as a couple and had booked all-inclusive. However, at check-in we had to pay over €150 extra for a club membership, which we didn't know what it was for. Included in the all inclusive package was the food, which was more or less the same every day and only water and wine from a tap to drink. We drank from plastic glasses. Every other drink, such as cola, had to be paid for separately with a card at 3.50 per can. I have never experienced……

These properties are all configured differently as our friends were in a different unit and it was configured in a much better layout. The stairs in our unit were very steep and narrow, with a low bulkhead -my husband hit his head several times when coming down the steps. At the end of the hallway in our unit, was a full length mirror propped against the wall and……
