Relax and enjoy a beach vacation in a town that features family-friendly parks and fishing spots along Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Located on a barrier island, Redington Beach offers the best of both worlds, with the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. It’s also next to Madeira Beach, with plenty of family-friendly entertainment options. Choose between simply relaxing by the sea, strolling along the white sand and enjoying picnics in leafy parks.

From nearby hotels, you’re never far from the wide stretch of sand, the highlight of Redington Beach. Watch for dolphins and seabirds while you’re swimming and strolling. In town, as well as in neighboring Redington Shores, you’ll find charming restaurants and beachy boutiques for leisurely dining and shopping.

Select from numerous town parks for picnics, playgrounds and benches custom-made for relaxed fishing. Discover the mural at Moon Park and take the kids to the playground in Town Park. In Redington Shores, Constitution Park features a jungle gym and Del Bello Park offers direct access to the water with your kayak.

Take a 10-minute drive to Indian Shores, home to the Seaside Seabird Sanctuary. Here you’ll meet around 100 birds rescued by the wildlife rehabilitation facility. Keep going to Indian Rocks Beach for a swim and browse around the retail shops. Stay for sunset to capture spectacular photos.

Zoom down the slides at Splash Harbour Water Park at Indian Rocks Beach. Scream around the twists and turns of Smuggler’s Run and take the Pirate’s Plunge. The Great White Lazy River is ideal for relaxation while the kids enjoy the slides.

Drive toward Madeira Beach and stop at Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf for mini golf with the bonus attraction of feeding alligators. Continue to John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk and join a dolphin-spotting tour from Hubbard’s Marina. Nearby, the Alligator and Wildlife Discovery Center is the place to get close to resident alligators and snakes.

For a relaxing vacation at Redington Beach, fly to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport. It’s just a 25-minute drive from the airport to the white sand and the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Quiet, mostly residential but 10 minute drive to John Pass area with shopping, restaurants and bars. Nice beach and able to enjoy the sun setting each night.
