Perfect on beach getaway
5 / 5 Excellent
My daughter and I were going to be doing a quick visit to the campus of the college she’ll be headed to in August, University of South Florida in Tampa, and I wanted to surprise her with a beachfront stay. This location and the “old Florida” vibe was what led me to North Redington Beach. Unfortunately, after we learned that the waters are plagued with Red Tide right now, so we couldn’t go in the water, but were able to fully enjoy the beach!
The unit was the perfect size for 2. Bed was comfy, the cabinets were fully stocked with glasses, plates, there was a Kuerig, LG fridge. The bathroom was really pretty but very small, but not a big deal. Plenty of toilet paper and towels. There is a beach umbrella which was a nice surprise.
When we arrived, a Sunday, the temp inside the condo was in the 80’s, and the A/C was running but it was hot air. Luckily there was a box fan in the closet, so sleeping that night wasn’t too intolerable.
The next morning the office was open, the property manager contacted someone to come see what was wrong. Someone arrived within an hour or two, ( his name was Jim I think) he got on the roof and found that there was zero Freon in our condos A/C. After he added it, we were nice and cool for the remainder of our stay.
The location is absolutely perfect, the condo was exactly what we needed for our stay, the property manager was the nicest woman ever. You can walk in any direction and find places to eat, shop, you name it. Just a short drive to Treasure Island, about 40 minutes to Tampa.
Sunsets for dayssssss!
We will definitely be back to visit, probably get a bigger condo to stay in.
Thank you for a great stay!
