"The Brandon Inn was lovely- clean, comfortable and the staff were all amazingly helpful, cheerful and fun. To note, I have severe fragrance allergies but there were no scents or perfumes added to the linens or the rooms- I was so grateful! The only "issue" was the severe lack of water pressure and tepid temperature "hot' water in my 3rd floor suite. It was disappointing. They referred me to 22Park Eatery (next door) for dinner since their dining room was closed due to a private wedding (I didn't know that in advance) - and it was an excellent referral! So grateful. I'd stay here again without hesitation."
Middlebury Inn

"The location is a great launch point to see smaller towns nearby. Middlebury is a nice town, the inn is charming with friendly staff and a great restaurant. The only downside is the restaurant closes at 8:30 pm however, much of Vermont seems to close down between 5:00 pm and 8:30 pm."

"Beautiful property along Lake Champlain. Breakfast buffet was terrific with great selections. Rooms were a bit small (homestead 2), but very comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Will definitely stay here again."

"This was our second stay at The Romantic Retreat and yet again, it was a fantastic stay! Jeff checked in to make sure all was well. The property was clean and so cozy, especially during the rain. Perfect autumn getaway!"

"Place was really cute & different than anything we’ve had before. Great location. They are doing renovations…so there was some construction going on but we weren’t in the room much for it to have impeded our stay."
