“The service is the best and the pool is a very personal and shaded area with enough sun to do you justice, without causing skin cancer. The vegetation, trees and shade make you think of paradise. The breakfast is included and is not some simple cheese. Coffee , Juice, Yogurt and a very ample fruit bowl. “Stranded 1 night in Rio & exhausted. Booked a room at Modernistas Hospedagem e Arte because it's in a traditional touristic neighborhood, as opposed to the beaches. I already know (& love) the beaches but was coming to Rio after 2 wks on Florianópolis beaches. Missed my flight to US at Riogaleão, arriving after midnight. Check in ends at 6pm, but for a small late check-in fee, the reservations agent secured an onsite caretaker, Antonieta, to await me. By the time I picked up my bag, cleared……

“Lot's of food stores near buy. Location is amazing, old Rio de Janeiro, birth place of samba music, every night music alive in the bar and restaurants. Kitchen has the minimum basic stuff. No need to cook, good food every where!”

“Zou niet voor deze hotel kiezen, oud accommodatie, de zwembad sluit heel vroeg, personeel praat bijna geen engels , alles zo oud , nu zijn ze restaurant aan het verbouwen , ravage daar , je betaald toch volle pond , restaurant is vervangen , nu krap en weinig keuze dan voorgaande dagen , daarom vandaag verhuisd naar andere hotel voor se komende 7 dagen”
