“Office manager was pleasant, and our stay sufficed for a weekend when we would not be spending much time there. It is an older motel type property, but that was fine. The sheets and towels were clean. However, the outlet next to the sink was not up to date by code with a security shut off if wet, a ceiling panel over the tub was hanging, the caulking around the tub was black with mold, and the door was covered with dirty prints on the inside. These are all things that could be remedied easily……

“The Travelodge by Wyndham is a fixture on the Cape, being one of the few places a traveler can book a single night at the height of the busy summer season (most require at least two). The rate is affordable, which they tout on their roadside marquee; it is also open all year, which is beneficial when looking for a room any time of the year up there. “I booked this property for a one-night stay based off recent Google reviews… which apparently was a bad idea. Upon arrival, it’s not awful but definitely not a “glamorous” property. The woman who checked us in was nice however the check in process was odd. They don’t require an ID or card for incidentals, just give your name and that’s it. The property for SURE needs to be updated. Our bed was relatively comfortable all things considered but the headboard seemed out of place. The baseboards,……

“This is a great basic room, right next to the ocean. There is nothing luxurious about it, but it's also priced accordingly. One small comment I would love to see the addition of a small corner desk and a tiny chair. So many of us travel and work it would be great to have a place to sit, and there is room for it in the rooms. Apart from that, it's a great stay for the money.”

“What a hidden gem! We were looking for an overnight on the Cape close to all our favorite places and this was the perfect place. Host so incredibly gracious - hospitality is alive at this place! The room was clean and spacious, the grounds immaculate and beautiful- pool and Adirondack chairs. The picnic basket in the morning was such a fun and delicious treat. We will be back!”

“They didn't have the room available at check-in; staff seemed a bit disheveled. Bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly due to rushing it looked like. They could have cleaned the seaweed on the beach at the resort; it was all over the beach and in the shoreline water.”
