Our room was small but clean, comfortable and charming. But the real star of the stay was the restaurant itself— the food was excellent. The food was excellent, we had a couple on drinks, we were then shown to our room, which was spotless and spacious. We came back down for a drink before heading out for the evening, Saturday morning we came down for breakfast and once again was greeted by a friendly chef, the food was delicious and hot, with plenty on toast, coffee and fresh juice, the owner (Sarah) arrived, we then new why all the staff was so warm and friendly. I used to stay here monthly on business as it is a pub with a high calibre standard for customer services. The food is outstanding and rooms are outstandingly clean, well provided with a Bluetooth speaker, Flat screen tv, seats and a coffee pod machine. The breakfast in the morning is a 1st class with fresh ingredients, toast and or coffee and juice. I used to stay before Covid. Great accommodation and breakfast was excellent. Restaurant was excellent to with attentive staff and a good quality of food. However, when we reach the hotel it was nice, an older building but clean and well kept up. Up. The food was great in the restaurant.
