“Very good ”

“Place looks nice but when getting to my room I found that the bathroom has no light over the mirror. I asked about this an was told they disabled all the lights around the mirrors! What?!? Go to watch the TV only to find out they don't ha”

“The property was clean and well maintained. We stayed in room #3 and it was very nice. The breakfast consisted of only a cranberry muffin and Keurig coffee. Most restaurants and businesses in and around the town are closed on Monday and Tuesday.”

“The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which was unexpected since the hotel is advertised as smoke-free. Additionally, both the bathtub and the sink were clogged, making the stay less comfortable than expected.”

“One of the reasons that I stay at Hampton Inn is because the beds are so incredibly comfortable, and this visit didn't disappoint. But, what stood out about this Hampton Inn was the breakfast. It was amazing! It was seasoned, there was a variety of food, each day, and it was perfectly prepared and executed. The staff was helpful and even brought out almond milk for my daughter. Another big plus was that the staff were all very friendly and helpful.”

“breakfast was delicious. staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. only negative was there was way too much clutter. too much furniture and too many decorative thingys on top of the furniture.”

“This is a welfare hotel. We arrived to find a burned-out room boarded up with plywood near the entrance. Literally. It went downhill from there. Broken elevator. Man urinating in parking lot. Patrons dropping a case of beer in the parking lot and sorting through broken glass. We left immediately. This should not be listed as a hotel. It is not. It is temporary housing for people in need.”

“Room had just been renovated and there was still work being done. We were very pleased overall with the stay. The woman at the front desk who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful with dinner options. We would stay at this property again.”

“No soap in our shower. Stayed overnight quickly so didn't really allocate time to ask for some, but we really shouldn't have to do that at all.”

“The historic Inn is beautifully maintained and updated and provides a unique experience of staying in a home dating back to the 1600's. Breakfast was delicious and Megan the cook was welcoming and helpful. We always stay at the Black Walnut Inn when in Amherst!”
