“Price was great and location was excellent for walking to a few places. It’s about 4 miles from the busy downtown area. Property is located next to the mini golf course. The bike trail is also right behind. Would definitely stay again. Only negative would be that the ice machine was always empty, but saw several people filling coolers, etc so not necessarily the propery establishment’s fault considering the sign clearly states not to fill coolers. Looking forward to staying there again this……

“Very dated motel. Stayed here for the nostalgia, as I grew up going to HoJo's around the US. Check in was ok, but no one there to check out. Stairs to the room were rusty with peeling paint. Crumbling sidewalks. Felt unsafe. Shower curtain had that foul, sour smell--needs to be soaked in bleach or disinfectant. A real turn off. Beds seemed clean and we're comfy. Breakfast was surprisingly good--hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, breakfast bars, muffins, juices, coffee, and best of all,……

“This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate.
