No fridge in room. Ordered room service, 2 and a half hours late. Ordered and paid on app at 10.20am, called twice to reception who took the order again and delivered food at 12.30pm. Ignored my request for NO tomatoes. Burgers were of budget quality. Very disappointing. Air con minimal level was 19 degrees. Not very comfortable in room because of this. Balcony was too narrow to sit on chairs. Restaurant meal on site was highly anticipated, and a real disappointment, tomahawk steak for 2 at £85 with two sides that consisted of a child's size bowl of thick chips-counted 12 chips. The tiny thimble sized sauces were not fresh and were tasteless. Despite paying for room service on app, when checking out had to dispute additional charges on my account by showing the reception staff my bank statement to prove I'd already paid. No apologies for the two and half hour wait for the food either, just shrugged and said the app doesn't really work. Would not recommend. Have had better service at Premier Inn budget hotel in both the staffs attentivness and having a fridge and powerful working air con. Pool was too cool for me to swim, others were doing laps so perhaps just my preference for warm temperature. Steam and sauna had gaps under door. Soggy plaster discarded in shower Tuesday and wednesday so not thorough with their cleaning schedule. Jacuzzi was out of order on Wednesday. Nice branded hand soap and lotion in bathroom. Beautiful surroundings, golf course-nice views

Having stayed here some 8/10 years ago I was really looking forward to my return visit. Whilst it’s still a nice hotel, it’s starting to look very tired. Food choice was average, food was average! Room was nice (ish) clean and the best shower pressure know to man. Nice hotel but not uprooting any trees!
