"Everything was clean and tidy, and the beds were really comfortable. We had the main bedroom, and the large closet and bathroom were great. We had family staying in the other bedroom, and they did say that the other bedrooms had no storage other than hang up space in the closet. I relayed this to the very responsive property manage, and they thanked me for the suggestion. I would definitely stay there again!"

"We had so much fun! The location of this property could not have been better. We toured the Mall, Smithsonian museums, The Capitol, saw Helicopter one land and take off from the White House and even went to a Nats baseball game. "My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Carl's basement apartment for a combined work trip and vacation to DC. The space was more comfortable than a hotel room, at a lower total cost than most. Carl was very proactive about providing helpful information and checking that everything was OK. Although we didn't take advantage, a pingpong table and video arcade game added to the charm. It was within a reasonable walking distance to restaurants, groceries and a metro station."

It was located perfectly just a few minutes walk from the metro station, in a very safe neighborhood with plenty of access to bike rental docks, grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. "A colleague and I stayed for a work trip. The apartment was great - very clean, plenty of privacy for two, as the bedrooms and bathrooms are spread apart. Very clean! Lots of towels and some toiletries provided. There was even coffee in our apartment. Not sure if that is provided each time or we lucked out from previous renter. "The space was perfect for my wife and I who made a last minute trip to DC for our Anniversary. The location was very clean and had everything we needed including a comfortable bed and living room, well appointed kitchen, and an amazing shower. The neighborhood was quiet and very cute. Easly walkable to great restaurants and bars, and about 1 mile from the Capitol, which made for a nice walk through the beautiful neighborhood. Communication was great and check-in was a breeze. I did have 3 issues: 1) the bed was to firm and unfortunately the host did not have an egg crate to use 2) my wife did not like the shower 3) while I was aware hosts lived above I wasn’t expecting to be awakened by a screaming infant who then ran heavy stepping through the entire upstairs as early as 7:40"
