“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

“Room was comfy and clean. Beds were only doubles but were extra comfy! The bathroom door latch had an issue completely closing but we were only there 1 night so wasn’t a big deal. I let the front desk know when we checked out and they thanked me for letting them know. So hopefully it was fixed.”

The bedclothes did not allow for maintaining a comfortable sleeping temperature. There was a nightstand on only one side of the bed, which was inconvenient. Otherwise, the room was quiet.”
