Incredibly well equipped, spacious and airy, the villa offers unbeatable value for money and attention to the details in one of the prettiest locations of the island, mixing a traditional soul with plenty of modern comforts. Surrounded by 5000sqm of private grounds with mature olive trees, this fully air-conditioned villa can easily accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 spacious bedrooms. Relax on one of the many furnished terraces, dip in the generously sized private pool, cook a delicious charcoal grilled dinner or simply enjoy the peace and views over the sea: Villa Di Giovanni will be a truly perfect home away from home, with all the special extras able to turn a holiday into a memorable experience. Inside, the villa is set over 2 floors and has been furnished with comfort and ease of use in mind: guests will find all the comforts, all the most modern appliances and plenty of space. The whole villa is air-conditioned, both in the bedrooms and in the common areas and mosquito screens are provided. On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a useful lounge/kitchenette perfect for preparing poolside meals without the need to go upstairs. All the rooms open via big patio doors onto a well-furnished terrace facing the pool and the gardens. The bedrooms on the ground floor are 2 doubles and 1 twin, all romantically furnished and particularly spacious. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with walk-in shower, while the 2 further bedrooms share a large family bathroom with both a Jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower. The upper floor houses the main living area together with a stunning suite with double bed and its own shower room. The huge living room (with fireplace) has plenty of sofas, armchairs as well as satellite TV (free channels), DVD player, music system. The surprisingly well equipped and well stocked kitchen has a breakfast bar as well as a dining table that can comfortably sit all the guests together. Dishwasher, oven, microwave, 4 cooking rings, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and washing machine are available. Also on the upper floor all the rooms open straight to a front balcony overlooking the pool, the olive trees and the sea, with plenty of outdoor furniture to dine outside, relax or simply enjoy the views. There is also a side balcony, accessible from the lounge, well equipped with rattan sofas and coffee tables. Also the exteriors of Villa Di Giovanni have been carefully designed to offer a unique holiday experience. The huge private pool (measuring 12m x 6m, depth 1m to 1.7m) has access both via Roman Steps and ladder. It is surrounded by stone-paved terraces perfect for sunbathing while enjoying the pleasant atmosphere and the views. The well-kept gardens with olive trees, coloured flowers and scented shrubs complement the setting. Eight comfortable sunbeds are provided, together with pool towels free of charge and parasols. As with the interiors, the pool patio and the terraces of Villa Di Giovanni have also been furnished with plenty of elements to provide superior comfort and wide choices to the guests: there is a barbecue, dining tables, outdoor sofas, a poolside shower and even a delightfully pretty wrought iron gazebo. Villa Di Giovanni has definitely all the ingredients and the character to guarantee an unforgettable holiday! The property, thanks to its spacious interiors and its large exteriors, guarantees a pleasure and safe stay. All the areas, including the swimming pool, are carefully sanitized and sterilized for the health and tranquility of guests. Wi-Fi poor. Pool looked good but wasps constantly buzzing around the grates on entry, wife and daughter got stung. Incessant noise from crickets which got in the house several times, creepy looking things. Patio doors looked like a burglary had been attempted. Very rural location, 65 minutes to a hospital. Extremely difficult to get taxis. Internal Staircase was wobbly and had a warning that kids should be supervised. Had to take patio cushions in on a night as the signs warned us feral cats would stain them. Old vertical radiator pipes sticking out of the floor in every room. 25 minute walk to nearest shop past derelict buildings, up a steep hill on way back. Can’t get car down driveway easily and very steep to get out. Villa Di Giovanni was the most amazing Villa we have ever stayed in. The rooms were all beautifully decorated with magnificent furniture. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and had everything you could possibly want. The TV had more channels than we get in the UK, including Sky Sports channels. All rooms were air conditioned and bedrooms all had access to a balcony. There were only 4 of us so we had a bedroom each so the amount of space was astonishing. There is even a second well equipped kitchen on the lower floor so the villa would be great for 2 families sharing. Outside the pool was fantastic with views of the sea. I counted 85 chairs in the villa so in our case that was 21 seats each!!! The outdoor space was equally impressive with numerous area to eat and of course there is a BBQ The location was also superb. Private and quite isolated but also very handy for bars, restaurants and beeches. Also easy access to local attractions and general sightseeing. The village of Peritheia, a short walk down the hill, has 2 lovely restaurants, a bar and 2 mini markets. The staff in the restaurants etc. couldn't have been more friendly and by the end of the week we felt like locals. So if a night in a restaurant left you feeling like you didn't fancy the walk back up the hill there are lots of locals who will gladly drive you back. There are also a couple of bars and restaurants a five minute drive away on the lovely beech. The owner, Linda, lives quite local so if you need anything you need she can easily pop out. Linda couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and helped make our holiday so wonderful. As we arrived very late (early) it was useful that the keys are on site and you don't need to meet anyone. The villa was very clean and the beds made up ready for us. We found everything we needed for cooking in the well equipped kitchen(s). Lots of options for sitting inside or out, although having visited early in the season the side patio wasn't quite catching the sun for breakfast. The pool was as big as any we've ever had at any rental property and lovely and clean and clear but unfortunately being early in the season it was an ordeal getting in!! The only slightly negative thing to say was the low walls bounding the drive were slightly disconcerting until I got used to them (but parking is available by the church opposite the entrance to the drive).
