"House is in a nice location. The pictures were photoshopped on the listing to make the wood appear to be a more modern wood tone than it actually is. Not a huge deal but definitely something I noticed upon arrival. The bath towels provided by the house were bleach stained. No AC in bedrooms. Plant overgrowth on back deck. Ice maker doesnt work in freezer. Minor issues that could be addressed to provide a nicer experience for guests. Overall the house was not bad and we had a nice stay, but not 5...

"1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high.
